How long can kids be in childcare?
There is a 2 hour time limit in childcare per visit. If you choose to use the facility more than once per day, you must have at least a 2 hour break between visits.
What age kids can be in childcare?
We welcome children from newborn to 11 years old. All children under the age of 12 are not permitted elsewhere in the gym and must remain in the childcare.
Can I bring a child into childcare that is not my own?
If you bring a child that is not your own as a guest, you must have a guardianship form filled out by the child’s parents and signed by both parents. This needs to be witnessed by our childcare staff. You may opt to have the signatures notarized off site. The temporary guardian must be 18 or older. You will pay $4 per hour for your guests. Only children registered under your agreement are included in your monthly childcare membership.
Do you have tanning?
Many locations offer tanning on site. Clubs that offer tanning have HEX brand high pressure stand up beds that run 12 minutes maximum. Unlimited tanning is $25 per month.
Do I get a free personal training session with my membership?
All new Members receive a one hour fitness consultation with a certified personal trainer as part of their membership.
Is there a charge for group exercise classes?
All of our group fitness classes are INCLUDED with your membership. Many locations offer 80 classes a week or more including Yoga, Barre, Zumba, Cycle and Peak Performance Interval Training. From time to time we do offer special training or special events for a small fee. These classes are promoted in advance and allow for Members and Non-Members to attend.
What are your holiday hours?
Holiday hours vary, however we are closed on Easter and Christmas Day. Please contact your local club for the holiday hours, or you can visit our Facebook page (Facebook.com/mtnsidefitness) as we post our holiday hours.
Can I use my membership if I forget my key tag?
Members can check in at the front desk by name or with the Mountainside Fitness app. Please make sure your account has your photo on file. Photos can be taken at the front desk.
How old does a person have to be in order to be a Member or a guest?
Members and guests must be at least 12 years old to work out at Mountainside Fitness. All Members and guests between the ages of 12 and 17 must have a signed parent waiver on file in order to work out. Waivers must be signed in person and witnessed by an employee.
What is your guest policy?
All guests over 18 years of age are required to have a valid Arizona Driver's license and sign in at the front desk. Guests will be given a trial pass which can be used from the first day they sign in. All guests between the ages of 12 and 17 must have a signed parent waiver on file in order to work out as a guest. Waivers must be signed in person and witnessed by an employee. Guests are allowed one (1) pass per calendar year. Guests may purchase a one-day pass for $22.50. Pricing and restrictions subject to change.

New Members who join Mountainside Fitness are eligible to participate in our 30 day money back guarantee program. The program allows new members to purchase a membership with the peace of mind that Mountainside Fitness is committed to a clean and comfortable workout experience for all of its new members. New members must use the facility at a minimum of 5 visits during a 30 day period and visit the club in person to formalize a refund request to initiate the Money back guarantee program refund request.
How do I freeze my membership?
You can freeze your account by visiting one of our clubs or by sending a Certified letter. How do I cancel my membership?

What is included in a Family Membership?
Family Membership includes membership for 2 adults and those living in the household under the age of 21, up to a total of 8 people. For families with more than 8 family members, there is an additional fee of $10 per month per family member under 21 years old. Our family plan also includes our childcare services at no additional cost.
Can I access other locations with my membership?
Yes, when you become a member, you will have access to 18 of our 19 clubs. For a one-time fee of $60, you can gain access to our Executive club in Scottsdale.
Can I charge purchases to my membership?
All Members are able to charge MCafé, pro-shop, and programming purchases to their account as long as a form of payment is on file. Any purchases will be charged with the Member's next month’s dues.
When are memberships billed?
Month to month and 12 month memberships are billed monthly on the credit card or bank account of your choice. Last month's dues are collected at the time of registration. Any promotions will be honored following your first month of membership. Annual Paid in Full membership dues are collected upfront and any promotions are additional to your year (ex. if you are offered one month free, you would receive 13 months for the price of a 12 month annual paid in full membership).
Are all memberships contracts?
We do offer our individual, couple and family plans as month to month memberships. We also offer 12 month contracts and Annual Paid in Full memberships. Check out our Membership Information page for details on pricing.
What does a membership cost?
